This one took a month and remains one of my favorites; it's hung in my living rooms since I painted it in 1972. To me, it represents both the order and chaos in the universe, and how some things may look reasonable but they turn out to be nothing but illusion, and pass. Often when I painted something like this, I had no preconceived image in mind, I let the work flow intuitively.

This wall-sized painting is something I'd like to sell (I've had it 38 yrs, time to pass it on), but shipping is impossible, it would have to be trucked to its final location! Maybe someone in the 'Deep South' would like to make an offer? It's edged with lattice for protection and hanging in my living room as you see it, hence the bad lighting. $5000 (or best offer) I have better photos on 35mm slides, which I haven't scanned yet as I don't have a slide scanner.
